Songza: Playlists For Everything.

Songza is a web radio that streams music for free, similar to Pandora. The difference is the playlists are handpicked, even allowing you to put together your own playlist. It allows you to like/dislike songs. From a personal experience, I enjoy Songza's ability to more consistently play songs from the searched artist, while discovering new music. I also enjoy the number of playlists there are to choose from, based on activity, mood, genre, decade, or events such as Coachella 2011. And I mean no disrespect to Pandora, because Pandora is great, but this is a nice alternative if you are looking to listen to something more specific. Here are some of its main features:

Introducing the Eatery
This app serves as an alternative to calorie or carb counting. It encourages how you are eating overall vs. obsessing over detailed nutrition numbers. The eatery encourages you to document your meals or snacks, the app then plots your eating trends pointing out "bad/silent habits" and help you improve them. While I am no expert, I do enjoy applications that have the potential to benefit our general well being. Give it a try!
