Mobbler - Live Streaming Music from Last.fm

To use Mobbler you will need a phone running Symbian S60 and an account set up with Last.fm.

Mobbler is a great app that brings the Last.fm experience to your Symbian phone. While most phone apps will usually "scrobble", Mobbler lets you stream music as well. This is really the feature we all want anyway. Can you say unlimited music library on demand?

If you are familiar with Pandora you will know Last.fm: online music streaming. Last.fm goes a step further by allowing you to share what you listen to with others and see what others listen to. You can "scrobble" or esstenially track the music you play in iTunes to Last.fm as a way to make sure the station is only playing what you like (separate download to your computer).

Go here to download Mobbler. Don't worry, this is also FREE!

FlyCast - Streaming Radio

If you own a Blackberry Bold, Curve or the iPhone this is the app to load. You can access radio stations from all over country. ESPN radio, top 40, and many others are all available.

This is a great way to listen to the game on the go or just hear some great tunes. The application needs unlimited data (or Wifi) to work and the interface couldn't be any cooler. Best part is its FREE!

Go to flytunes.fm to download from your phones browser. You will need to do a simple free registration prior to using the first time.

Vlingo: tell your BlackBerry what to do!

Vlingo is a very accurate speech control application that does practically anything on your phone you ask it to. You can tell it to "EMAIL Mike SUBJECT Schedule Today MESSAGE I am running late and will miss our meeting today" and presto, up comes a populated message. You can use Vlingo to search the Internet, call someone, text , write a new memo, open applications, and update social networking sites like Facebook.

The application is verified to work on BlackBerry Pearls and Curves, but I tested it on a Bold and found it to work pretty well. I definitely recommend this one. It is a free app (although the website does not guarantee this will always be the case) so get it now!

The application requires a data plan and you can get it by texting "Vlingo" to 95495.
