Cinemagram  is the new Instagram. Well maybe not, but it's pretty fun regardless. You could call it a hybrid between photo and video, allowing you to bring your photos to life through small animations. You can also apply vintage/cross processing filters to give your photo a little extra character. Check out some of the "trending cines."

Here's how it works:
1) Film a short video clip 2-3 seconds
2) Animate a small region
3) Apply awesome Xpro, vintage filters
4) Blow up your social media feeds (twitter, fb & tumblr)

Instead

"Instead" is a smartphone app, which allows you to donate to a non-profit of your choice. The idea is to save money by eating more efficiently, but then to donate the difference. For example, if your coworker says, "lets go to Cheesecake Factory" and you reply, "i brought my own lunch." You can then input the amount of money you think you are saving. I haven't used this app, but I like the design and more importantly I especially love when developers think outside of the box. Check out the developer site or to download visit the Apple App Store.
