This is not really practical, but I always loved these experiments when I was in grade school (ie. charging a clock with fruit). And something I love even more is thinking outside of the box. Apparently, the story behind this is a marketing and social media firm, named Imperial Leisure, created an advertisement using the iPhone to promote the sale of Jaffa oranges. It takes a lot of rods, cable, and more importantly 2,380 Jaffa oranges to power an iPhone. Happy Friday!
